Dr. Habib, born
in Cairo, Egypt, graduated from Ain-Shams University School of
medicine in Cairo with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude). Since
childhood, Dr. Habib had the passion for ophthalmology and
medicine from his father, an ophthalmologist.
After
moving to the U.S.A., Dr. Habib completed a medical internship
at the Beth Israel Medical Center from 1992 - 1993. He then
spent two years researching corneal lasers at the prestigious
New York Eye and Ear infirmary from 1993 - 1995. He
contributed in approving the Picosecond laser for corneal laser
surgery by the FDA. He then completed a reputable ophthalmology
residency at the Nassau County Medical Center/SUNY-Stony Brook
University in Long Island, New York from 1995 - 1998.
He
culminated his training by completing a corneal fellowship at
the prestigious Louisiana State University in New Orleans under
the preceptorship of the world renowned professor Herbert
Kaufman from 1998 - 1999.

Shailesh K Gupta, MD, MBA, FACS Board Certified in Ophthalmology and specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous
Dr. Gupta is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and specializes in diseases of the retina and vitreous. He has extensive experience in the treatment of a wide variety of retinal disorders including age-related macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
He performs laser surgery for retinal diseases and has pioneered novel surgical techniques in the management of retinal detachments.
Dr. Gupta has strong roots in South Florida, where he attended middle school and high school. He completed an accelerated 6 year combined honors program in medical education from the University of Miami and received his Doctorate in Medicine with Research Distinction in 1997 from the University of Miami School of Medicine.
Dr. Gupta was also a member of the faculty at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, where he had co–directed the vitreo–retinal surgery fellowship training program.

Cara Snyder, M.D. Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and fellowship trained Ophthalmic Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Snyder received a B.S. with honors in chemistry from Brown
University where she was elected to the Sigma Xi Scientific
Research Society.
She attended Albert Einstein College of
Medicine, then completed an Internal Medicine internship at St.
Vincents Hospital in New York and Ophthalmology residency in at
the Warren Alpert School of Medicine at Brown University where
she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Snyder completed a fellowship
in Oculoplastic Surgery at the University of South Florida with
Dr. Charles Slonim.
Cara currently resides with her
husband and sons. She enjoys biking, beach activities and being
an active member of the Boca Raton community. She is currently
on staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, Boca Raton Outpatient
Laser and Surgery Center and South County Surgical Center. She
is also an Associate Affiliate Professor of Biomedical Sciences
at Florida Atlantic University.

Dr. Pooja Gupta Garg Ophthalmology Specialist
Dr. Garg received her B.S. from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and her M.D. from the University of Miami Miller School Of Medicine in Florida where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society.
She completed her ophthalmology residency at William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan and fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Dr. Garg has published several articles on ocular disease
and is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists
(ASRS), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology
(ARVO) American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), Pennsylvania
Academy of Ophthalmology (PAO), Pittsburgh Ophthalmology Society

Optometric Physician
Dr. Richards is a Certified Optometric Physician having received his degreee from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1975 whereupon he relocated to South Florida In Boynton Beach.
His educational path includes a Bachelor's Degree in Divisional Science from Florida Southern College as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Physiological Optics at UAB. Not only does he participate in continuing education on a regular basis, but he takes extra classes in the newest advances in eyecare and eye health.
While at the University of Alabama, he was class president for four continuous years and at graduation received the Outstanding Leadership Award. Dr. Richards has also served as President of the Palm Beach County Optometric Society and has made numerous trips to Tallahassee on public health legislation.

Dr. Heather B. Seith, M.D. is a Board Certified ophthalmologist. She has a special interest in treating patients suffering from macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and advanced glaucoma. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Yale University with honors in her major of biology and neuroscience. She continued her medical education at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, performed her internship at Jersey Shore Medical Center and completed her ophthalmology residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital. She then completed a medical retina and medical glaucoma fellowship at the East Florida Eye Institute. Dr. Seith is dedicated to providing an unparalleled quality of care and compassion to the patients of Boynton Eye Institute.
