About Dr. Snyder Dr. Snyder graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Brown University in Rhode Island, where she was inducted into the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society. After finishing her medical school education at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine / Montefiore Hospitals in New York, she participated in an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in New York. Dr. Snyder then returned to the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University to complete her Ophthalmology residency. Traveling south to the University of South Florida in Tampa, she concluded her education with a Fellowship specializing in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Snyder is board certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology, is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Florida Society of Ophthalmology, and the Palm Beach County Ophthalmology Society. Dr. Snyder has authored peer reviewed articles and abstracts relating to Ophthalmic Plastic Surgery, and has presented her research at national ophthalmology meetings. Dr. Snyder is currently an Affiliate Assistant Professor in Clinical Biomedical Science at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida. |
